The show will be held at the Javits Center from Wednesday through Jan. 25.

CBS2's Andrea Grymes interviewed Carrie Waible, spokeswoman for the New York Boat Show, who offered a preview of the world's first and longest-running boat show.

"There's a boat for every budget and lifestyle," Waible said. "And what you're going to see at the show is everything from a kayak that might be a few hundred dollars to yachts worth maybe over a million (dollars). And everything in between is wake sports boats, fishing boats, all kinds of gear and lots of new technologies as well."
