Police: Well-Dressed Burglary Suspect Strikes Again In Leonia

LEONIA, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a well-dressed man who they said has been breaking into homes in Leonia.

The suspect burglarized two homes in one day last month and tried to break into another home on Thursday, but took off when the homeowner pulled into the driveway, police said.

Capt. Scott Tamagny of the Leonia Police Department said the suspect was caught on surveillance video in one of the earlier incidents.

"We're looking for a Hispanic male who was last seen on the video wearing a beard, glasses and a business suit," Tamagny told 1010 WINS.

In the video, the suspect can be heard speaking Spanish over the phone to a possible lookout or getaway driver, Tamagny said.

The suspect was also wearing a suit in the latest incident, but police believe he may have gotten rid of his beard, Tamagny said.
