Police: Suspects Hit Coram Diner Worker With Car After Leaving Restaurant Without Paying Bill

CORAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in connection with an altercation outside a Long Island diner.

A man and woman were trying to flee the Coram Diner on Middle Country Road in Coram after skipping out on an $80 bill last month, police said.

When they were confronted by restaurant employees in the parking lot, police said the suspects hit one of the workers with their car.

The worker held onto the car's hood as it drove out of the parking lot, before sliding off, police said.

The worker suffered minor injuries.
