Police: Suspects Attacked, Robbed Man In The South Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were asking the public to help them find two suspects who assaulted and robbed man in the South Bronx.

The robbery took place around 5 a.m. Wednesday in front of 870 Prospect Ave. in the Bronx, police said.

The suspects assaulted the 56-year-old man and removed a gold chain from his neck, as well as his cellphone and $50, police said.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, where his condition was reported as stable.

Police have released a surveillance video showing the attack.
