Police: Staten Island Toddler Dies After Falling Off Changing Table

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Staten Island toddler has died after falling off a changing table and hitting her head on the floor, police said.

Two-year-old Lilly Jurgens was unconscious and unresponsive when EMTs arrived at 9 a.m. Monday at her home at 585 Clawson St., police said.

She was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
