Police Seek Suspect In Stabbing That Wounded Boy, 17, In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were searching for a suspect in a stabbing that left a 17-year-old boy injured in the Bronx.

The stabbing happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in front of the Motown Deli, at 1001 Soundview Ave. in the southeast Bronx, close to the Bruckner Expressway.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where his condition was reported as stable, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male with brown eyes and black hair, between the ages of 15 and 18, and standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.

Police have released a photo of a suspect.
