Police Seek Man In Shooting On East 169th Street In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting in the Bronx.

Authorities said the suspect brandished a gun at around 4:20 p.m. on Friday before shooting a 24-year-old man in the torso.

The incident happened across the street from 639 East 169th St., police said. The suspect then fled toward East 168th St.

Police said the victim was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities described the suspect as a Hispanic male, about 5'8" tall with long black hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a black ski cap, black work boots, black shirt, black fur trimmed jacket and black jeans.
