Police Seek 2 In Connection With Robberies At Queens Radio Shack, Metro PCS Stores

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for two men who may be behind two robberies in Queens.

Authorities said the first robbery happened on June 10 at the Radio Shack located at 187-12 Horace Harding Expressway.

One of the men displayed a gun while the other tied up two employees with duct tape, police said. The pair then took $400 and various electronics before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

Then, on July 28 police said they believe the same two men held up a Metro PCS store located at 219-25 North Conduit Ave.

The men, wearing hoodies, displayed silver firearms and tied up a 30-year-old female clerk and a 47-year-old male customer in the back of the store. The suspects then stole cash from the register and numerous cell phones before fleeing on foot.
