Police Search For Suspects In Bronx Laundromat Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two men who robbed a Bronx laundromat earlier this month.

The suspects -- one of whom was armed with a gun -- robbed the M&K Laundromat at 1797 Montgomery Ave. in Morris Heights around 7 p.m. June 2, police said. The men demanded money from the store clerk and made off with the laundromat's earnings for the day, according to authorities.

No injuries were reported.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspects.

One suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall black man who is 25 to 30 years old. The other suspect is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, black and in his early 20s.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 or to submit a tip online at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. All communications are kept confidential.
