Police Searching For Suspect In Brooklyn Subway Attack

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said assaulted a 63-year-old woman in a Brooklyn subway station earlier this summer.

The incident happened on July 23 around 3 p.m. at the Utica Avenue station.

Police said the suspect punched the woman in the back of the head and ran off.

The victim suffered pain and swelling and was treated at Kings County Hospital, police said.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20s and was wearing a light green shirt, black baseball cap and was carrying a black backpack, police said.
