Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Driver In Brooklyn Crash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in Brooklyn.

Police said a black SUV struck a 31-year-old woman at Avenue Z and 2nd Street in Gravesend shortly before midnight Friday. The SUV then took off.

As 1010 WINS' Darius Radzius reported, the woman was walking two of her dogs when a car hit her miniature doberman pinscher. Another car then struck the woman as she tended to her injured dog.

The woman was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn where she was listed in critical condition. Her dog was killed, Radzius reported.
