Police Search For Suspects In 3 Meatpacking District Break-Ins

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were seeking suspects in three early-morning burglaries earlier this week in the Meatpacking District.

The burglaries all happened this past Monday morning. All that was ultimately stolen was a bottle of liquor.

About 15 minutes later, a suspect broke in through the front door of Macelleria Restaurant, also at 63 Gansevoort St. He heard workers in the back and left, police said.

In the third incident around 4:30 a.m., the suspect broke into Corsino Cantina Restaurant, 637 Hudson St., through the side door. He entered the basement, but left with nothing, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos from the first incident.
