Police Search For 3 Suspects In Beating Of Boy, 17, At Queens Hookah Bar

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Tuesday for three suspects who allegedly beat a teenage boy so severely he had to be hospitalized in a South Richmond Hill, Queens hookah bar.

Around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, the three suspects walked into the Aladdin Hookah Bar, at 109-08 Liberty Ave. in Queens, police said.

They came up to the 17-year-old victim and began punching and kicking him, before one of the suspects struck him in the head with a metal object, police said.

The suspects ran off afterward.

The victim suffered a laceration to his head and was treated at Jamaica Hospital Center, police said.

The suspects were described as men between the ages of 18 and 25. Police have released surveillance photos.
