Police Search For 2 Suspects In Attempted Dry Cleaners Robbery In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were searching for two suspects in the attempted robbery of a dry cleaners in the Bronx.

Around 6:55 p.m. Monday, the suspects walked into the dry cleaners at 209 E. 165th St. in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx, and ordered a 72-year-old man working at the cleaners to hand over money as one of the suspects flashed a knife, police said.

The employee fled to the back of the store, police said. The suspects tried to take the whole cash register, but their effort did not work and they ran off east on 165th Street, police said.

No one was reported injured in the robbery, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects.
