NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Tuesday for three men who allegedly held up a day spa on Staten Island and threatened an employee with a hammer.

The robbery happened around 6:20 p.m. this past Wednesday at the New Royal Spa, at 39 Railroad Ave. in the Dongan Hills section of Staten Island, police said.

The suspects walked into the day spa and threatened the employee with the hammer before making off with $600, police said.
