Police: Rutgers Student Assaulted, Robbed On New Brunswick Campus

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police are searching for two men who assaulted and robbed a student on Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus.

The student was on the sidewalk in front of Ford Hall around 10:15 p.m. Sunday when the suspects approached him, campus police said.

One of the suspects assaulted the student and robbed him, police said.

The suspects then fled on foot.

The student sustained non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at a hospital, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
