Police Release Video Of Suspect In Bronx Machete Attack
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police are searching for a man they say used a machete to stab another person during a fight inside a Bronx restaurant.
Police released surveillance video that shows the suspect inside the El Carboncito Restaurant in Soundview early Saturday begin to take out a machete wrapped inside an umbrella.
The man was arguing with another restaurant patron, police said. The argument then escalated, and the victim was stabbed in the arm, torso and shoulder, authorities said. He was taken to a hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.
The suspect can be seen wearing a Yankees baseball cap.
It wasn't immediately clear what prompted the argument.
