Police Release Photos Of Suspects Wanted In Violent Manhattan Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance images of two men wanted in connection with a violent robbery in Manhattan.

The incident occurred on Ninth Avenue at 51st Street in front of the Vynl restaurant around 6:30 a.m. Monday.

The knife-wielding suspects walked up to two men, ages 22 and 24, and demanded cash, police said.

A struggle ensued and the 22-year-old victim was slashed on the face and the older victim was slashed on the wrist, police said.

The suspects ran off with the victims' cash, police said.

Both victims were treated and released from Bellevue Hospital.
