Police Officer Shot, Another Grazed In Deadly Irvington, N.J. Incident
IRVINGTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - A police officer was shot and another grazed in Irvington, N.J., sources told CBS2 Thursday.
According to the Essex County Sheriff's Office, the officer was shot near 377 Myrtle Avenue.

Witness video captures the moment the suspect opened fire at police.
Jude Memeh was driving with his 5-year-old daughter when police told him to pull over and duck down.
"That was a terrible scene today. I didn't want her to hear all that, but had no choice," he told CBS2's Meg Baker.
Sources told Baker the incident began at around 11 a.m. when the suspect was having an argument with a woman. Her friends jumped in to stop it and then the suspect left, got a gun and killed another man.
That's when police arrived on the scene and engaged the suspect, who had a rifle. Shots went back and forth.
Sources say one officer was hit and has non-life-threatening injuries. Another was grazed by a bullet.
Elijah Irby was asleep after working a night shift. His girlfriend heard fighting in the street.
"I was trying to see if it was gunshots or firecrackers, but it's past July," he said.
Vladimir was trying to get home from the library.
"I was driving, peered around a couple of time, thinking about my own safety situations," he said.
The suspect was removed from the scene in critical condition. He later died.
