Police: Nanny Found Drunk On The Job, Crashes Car

TOM'S RIVER, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A New Jersey nanny was arrested after allegedly being drunk on the job and then crashing her car, CBS 2 reported.

Police said Susan Porfido-Gibson of Bayville was babysitting in Tom's River Friday afternoon. When the mother of the young child returned home, Gibson was reportedly passed out. When found by the child's mother, she woke up and left.

Within minutes, police responded to a car accident, CBS 2 reported.

Police said Gibson was driving a Honda Accord that struck a fire hydrant.

She was arrested on numerous charges including endangering the welfare of a child and DWI.
