Police: Men Tried To Get Girl, 10, Into SUV In Fort Greene, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were searching for two suspects who allegedly tried to pick up a 10-year-old girl in Fort Greene, Brooklyn earlier this week.

The girl was walking near North Portland and Myrtle avenues around 4:05 p.m. Monday when the men pulled up in a BMW X3 sport-utility vehicle, police said. They asked if she would enter the vehicle, police said.

The girl ran away and the suspects fled, police said.

The suspects were described as being around 30 years old.
