Police: Man Flashed Woman On D Train Near Barclays Center

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Friday for a suspect who allegedly flashed a woman on a D Train passing near the Barclays Center in Brooklyn earlier this month.

Around 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, the suspect exposed himself to a 58-year-old woman on an outbound D Train at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station, police said.

The victim snapped a cellphone picture of the suspect before he got off the train, police said. Police have released the photo.

The suspect was described as a black male standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a light gray sweat shirt and construction boots, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
