Police: Man Fired 5 Rounds Into Manhattan Apartment Building Lobby; No Injuries

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man they said fired several shots into the lobby of a Manhattan apartment building over the weekend.

Authorities said the man pulled up to 409 West 129 St. around 7:25 on Sunday, got out of his vehicle and approached the lobby. The suspect then displayed a 9mm handgun and fired five rounds into the lobby, they said.

The man then went back to his vehicle and fled the location.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Police said the man was last seen wearing a large, hooded, waist-length jacket. A photo of the car the suspect was driving was released by police.
