Police Investigate Shooting That Left One Dead In The Bronx

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place in the Bronx on Friday night.

At 8:30 p.m. police responded to a call of a man shot inside of 634 East 233rd Street. Upon arrival officers discovered Jercar Brooks, 36, unconscious and unresponsive with two gunshot wounds to his torso.

First responders arrived and pronounced Brooks dead on the scene.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
