Police Investigate Shooting That Injured 2 Men In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police in Bridgeport are investigating after a shooting at an after-hours club left two men injured Saturday.

Police said an argument broke out at the club in the area of East Main Street as customers were leaving, which triggered a fight that led to the shooting.

According to authorities, 33-year-old Christian Roque was shot numerous times in the torso and taken to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance. The other victim, 23-year-old Luis Santiago, arrived at the hospital in a car with gunshot wounds.

Both were listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Police said they were called to the area at around 4:18 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and would not comment on whether any weapons were recovered or the identity of those suspected of opening fire.
