Police Investigate New Jersey Jewelry Store Burglary

OAKLAND, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating a jewelry heist in Bergen County.

The incident occurred over the weekend at Alpha Jewelers on Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland.

Someone broke through the wall of an adjacent real-estate agency to get into the jewelry store, police said.

Investigators did not say how much jewelry was taken.

The burglars also broke into a nail salon, but nothing was taken, CBS 2 reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
