NYPD Investigates First Homicide Of 2015 After Man Shot, Killed In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating New York City's first homicide of 2015 after a man was shot and killed in the Bronx.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Thursday inside the lobby of the St. Mary's Houses on Westchester Avenue.

When officers arrived, the found a 26-year-old Herb Huntley with gunshot wounds to the head and torso, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
