Police In Mount Vernon Search For Missing Autistic Teen

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Mount Vernon have launched a search for a missing autistic teenager.

According to officials, 15-year-old Jonathan Bryant has been missing since Tuesday afternoon, 1010 WINS reported.

Bryant has a fascination with trains and has been known to board them and travel to New York City, officials said.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with "Cozumel" written on it, white shorts, gray socks and red and black sneakers.

The teenager is described as a black male with brown eyes, 5'4" tall, and weighs 110 pounds.

Officials said Bryant may be in need of medical attention.

Anyone who may have seen Bryant or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Mount Vernon Police Department at 914-665-2500.
