Police: Costumed Suspects Being Sought In Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two costumed suspects who they said robbed a pizza place in the Bronx back in October.

It happened around 11 p.m. on Halloween at a Papa John's Pizza on Jerome Avenue.

Two men walked into the restaurant and each ordered and paid for food before leaving the store, police said.

A short time later, police said the men came back dressed in costumes, pulled out a gun and ordered the cashier to "Open the register. This isn't a joke!"

The two then took off with about $2,000, police said. No one inside the restaurant was hurt.

The men were seen on surveillance video both times they were inside the Papa John's, police said. Police describe them as men in their 20s and said one of them spoke Spanish.
