Police Continue Search For Alleged Scrub-Clad Rapist In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police renewed their request to the public Monday to help them find a man who allegedly raped a woman at gunpoint in the Bronx late last month.

The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, July 20, on East Tremont Avenue and Meyers Street in Parkchester.

The suspect pulled a gun on the 24-year-old victim and then raped her, police said.

The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspect, who was last seen wearing white scrubs and red sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips to the Crime Stoppers website or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
