FRANKLIN , N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Franklin Police in Somerset County say no crime is too small, after catching vandals that allegedly hit mailboxes in the area over the past several months.

"It's a relatively minor crime, but again, it is a quality of life issue. It's an annoyance on the fact that now, someone has to go out to purchase a new mailbox," Sgt. Philip Rizzo told WCBS 880's Jim Smith.

Rizzo said the vandals struck about 20 mailboxes.
