Police: Suspect Wearing Eye Patch Slashes Man In Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was slashed in the face in the Bronx early Saturday morning.

Police said a 23-year-old man was walking with a female companion in the Hunts Point Section around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when approached by the suspect.

Police said the suspect, who was wearing an eye patch, said something to them that they couldn't understand.

The suspect then allegedly cut the man in the face with an unknown object before fleeing the scene.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, 5-foot-8 and weighing around 150 pounds.
