Police: Boy, 11, Has Been Missing From Brooklyn Home Since Saturday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were asking the public to help them find an 11-year-old boy who has been missing for five days from his Brooklyn home.

Xavier Baskerville-Whitfield was last seen around 4 p.m. this past Saturday at his home on Stanley Avenue, in East New York, Brooklyn.

Xavier is described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a brown hat, a brown coat, a blue shirt, tan pants, and green sneakers.

Police have released a photo of Xavier.

Anyone with information was asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS, log onto the Crime Stoppers website, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
