Police: Bomb Threats Called In To 2 High Schools In Riverhead

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island are trying to find out who called in bomb threats to two high schools in Riverhead.

A total of four bomb threats were made in January, police said.

Three were made to Bishop McGann Mercy High School and one was made to Riverhead High School, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS or the Riverhead Police Department at 727-4500 extension 332 or extension 327.  All calls will be kept confidential.
