Police Athletic League Brings Together NYPD & Youth Of New York

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Police Athletic League traces it's roots back to 1914. One of its original goals was to reduce tension between police officers and young people.
That mission continues today, more than 100 years later, with several special programs for kids.
Executive Director Fred Watts stopped by to talk more about what the PAL offers.
