Police Identify Jogger Who Collapsed In Prospect Park

NEW YORK (AP) -- Police have identified a jogger who remains in critical condition after he collapsed while running in Brooklyn's Prospect Park on New Year's Eve Day.

The New York Police Department on Tuesday unidentified the jogger as 68-year-old Rynn Berry.

Police say his brother had come forward after media reports showed a photograph of the man in a hospital bed with various tubes attached to him.

Police say he was taken to Brooklyn's Methodist Hospital in critical condition at about 1 p.m. on Dec. 31 and remained unidentified for almost seven days. No criminality is suspected.
