Police Arrest Suspect In Assault On Bus Driver In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say they have made an arrest in an alleged assault on a bus driver in the Bronx two weeks ago.

Dennis Buie, of the Bronx, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault, assault and harassment.

The 20-year-old is accused of boarding the BX36 bus near Bryant Avenue and East 174th Street on Jan. 13 and punching the driver in the face following a dispute.

the 53-year-old victim suffered minor injury during the incident, police said.
