Police: Armed Suspects Barged Into Ditmas Park Restaurant, Demanded Money From Patrons

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for suspects in a frightening series of robberies in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn.

On Thursday night, a gunman stole three laptops and iPads from customers inside The Lark coffee shop on Church Avenue where police now stand guard.

The armed robbery was the third in a series of incidents where gunmen walk into restaurants and demand money from those inside.

"Everyone had their hands up and there was a guy with a gun and I was just kind of standing there with menus and of course I put my hands up," said Becca Pedinotti, manager of Mimi's Hummus.

Police said the suspects in all three robberies made off with hundreds in cash and electronics.
