Police Activity Delays Metro-North Trains In Greenwich
GREENWICH, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Metro-North commuter trains on the New Haven Line are back to normal service after police activity at the Greenwich train station caused delays of up to an hour.
Greenwich police were investigating a suspicious package that was reported at the downtown Greenwich Metro-North train station Sunday afternoon.
The police department later tweeted that the package was "non-hazardous" and that police had been cleared from the scene.

While the investigation was ongoing, officials had restricted pedestrian and vehicle access to the station platform and the adjacent Greenwich Plaza taxi stand.
Metro-North said the station platform has since been reopened and apologized for any convenience the investigation may have caused travelers.
