Police: 4th Suspect Believed To Be Involved In Armed Robbery At Chelsea Restaurant

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities say they now believe there were four suspects involved in a brazen robbery at a Chelsea restaurant.

Initially, police said three men, one armed with a machete, stormed the Crema restaurant on West 17th Street near Sixth Avenue on Sept. 12 and took a crash register with them.

Now, police said they believe a man in a tank top seen in surveillance video was also involved in the robbery, CBS 2 reported.

The NYPD said the man was acting as a lookout and never entered the restaurant.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance video, which police have released, 1010 WINS reported.

All four suspects remain on the loose. The three who entered the restaurant were described as Hispanic men in the their 20s all wearing masks, police said.
