Police: 3 Men Sought In Double Assault, Robbery In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three men in connection with an assault and robbery of two people in the Bronx.

It happened around 9 a.m. back on Feb. 8 in front of a laundromat on Grand Concourse in the Tremont section.

Police said one of the suspects touched a woman inappropriately. When she turned around to defend herself, he punched her and stole $200 from her wallet, which she then dropped on the ground, police said.

When another man nearby realized what was going on, police said the first suspect along with two others punched and kicked the man and then stole his cell phone.

Both victims are expected to be OK.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects.
