Police: 3 FDNY Firefighters Arrested Following Bar Brawl Near Citi Field

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Three FDNY firefighters were arrested Friday near Citi Field after allegedly getting into a bar brawl.

Police told CBS2 they were called to McFadden's around 7:45 p.m. following the Mets home opener against the Philadelphia Phillies.

When they arrived, the victim said he was assaulted by three men, who police say turned out to be three off-duty firefighters.

The firefighters have been identified as 34-year-old Michael Profeta, 33-year-old John Martin, and 33-year-old Anthony Cardazone.

All three were charged with assault and disorderly conduct, while Cardazone was also charged with resisting arrest.

The FDNY said the incident is under investigation.
