Police: 2 Suspects Sought In Travel Agency Robberies In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two suspects who they believe are responsible for gun-point robberies at two Queens travel agencies.

Authorities released new surveillance photos of the suspects following the second robbery in Richmond Hill on Wednesday.

Around 11 a.m., the suspects, one armed with a gun, entered the Crown Travel Agency on 118th Street, police said. Once inside, they tied up the victims and took cash and jewelry from two female employees, police said.

Investigators said the robbery fits the same pattern as one on Nov. 7 at Liberty Travel on Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach.

In that case, police said the two men, both armed with guns, tied up six employees and then took cash from a safe as well as money and phones from the victims.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
