Planned Parenthood Celebrates 100th Anniversary At City Hall

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Planned Parenthood celebrated its 100th anniversary in the rotunda of City Hall on Sunday.

First lady Chirlane McCray presented a proclamation for Planned Parenthood's anniversary.

1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reports it sounded very much like a political rally with Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., promising the group won't be discriminated if Democrats win the majority of the Senate on Election Day.

New York City's Planned Parenthood says it serves 64,000 people every year.

Planned Parenthood's mission is to provide affordable and judgment-free health care for all.
