The Knicks are in last place in the Eastern Conference, a half-game behind the 76ers. The Timberwolves (8-40) own the worst record in the NBA.

Team president Phil Jackson, in his first season in that role, has admitted that "so far, my experiment has fallen flat on its face."

The Knicks will take on the crosstown Nets at Barclays Center on Friday night.
