Person Struck, Killed By L Train In Bushwick, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A person was struck and killed by L Train in Bushwick, Brooklyn late Wednesday afternoon.

The person was struck at 5:07 p.m. at the Halsey Street station, on the cusp of Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens, officials told CBS2.

The circumstances were not immediately learned.

L Train service was shut down between Lorimer Street and Atlantic Avenue as of just before 6 p.m. Commuters were advised to use the A, C or J trains.
