'Hamilton' Cast Has Special Message For Vice President-Elect Mike Pence

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended a performance of Hamilton on Friday night, and before leaving he got a special message from the show's cast.

A video posted on social media shows a cast member calling to Pence as he starts to leave the theater.

The audience starts to boo, but the actor quiets them, saying "we have a message for you sir, we hope that you will hear us out."

The cast implored Pence to work on behalf "of all of us."
