Consumer Product Safety Commission Issues Warning About Peloton Treadmill Incidents Involving Children, Pets

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Safety regulators are urging Peloton Tread+ customers with small children and pets to stop using the machine immediately.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been multiple serious incidents. One child died.

The commission says there have been reports of children becoming entrapped and pulled under the machine.

Peloton says there's "no reason" to stop using the machine as long as safety instructions are followed.
