Man Points Gun At Woman Holding Child During Paterson Home Invasion

PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- The search is on for two men in a New Jersey home invasion.

A gunman and an accomplice pushed their way into a home on Governor Street in the 4th Ward in Paterson Tuesday night, police said.

The armed suspect pointed the gun at a woman holding a child, CBS2 reported.

The 27-year-old victim, her four young children and two other women were inside the home at the time of the incident, CBS2 reported.

The suspects tied up one of the women and covered her face, police said.

"I was asleep," victim Tama Chambers said. "They came in the room and pulled me out of my bed, they pat me down, they pat my pillow where my wallet was, they got my wallet."

No one was injured.

The suspects got away with about $200 in cash, police said.
