Police Investigating Shooting In Passaic

PASSAIC, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning in Passaic.

It happened around 4 a.m. when police received a call for shots fired in the area of Main Avenue near Garden Street.

There are reports that one person was shot. There are also some reports that two people may have been stabbed. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

Passaic police and the county sheriff's department are on the scene conducting the investigation.
